9 August 2008 - Under 15s Greens make Rugby League Finals in a real nailbiter!
A brilliant game was played today. The boys looked to be in control, deliberate, and thinking about what they were doing
the entire game, and it definitely paid off for them.
They matched try for try, and while the other team didn't manage to convert, the Greens did. They defended well and didn't slacken off at all.
They knew this game was for keeps.
Half time saw them on top but only just.
We were lucky to have plenty of players today.
A couple of good breakaways left the crowd gasping.
Excellent play and great defence saw them through.
Not bad for a team made up from U14s and U15s, playing U15s!
You all did really well boys.
We will all see you next week in Wagga, fingers crossed guys! Well done! (If anyone managed to get a good shot of the
team after the game, please
to post here - ours didn't come out! :-(
