50th Anniversary of the Discovery of the Southern Cloud

Screening of a dramatisation of the events of the crash
at the Conference Centre of Tumbarumba Motel 5.00pm Saturday 25 October 2008
Entry is free, and the screening is approximately one hour. This movie was made in 1934, before the Southern Cloud was discovered.

Tumbarumba Historical Society Dinner
at the Elms Restaurant Tumbarumba Motel 6.30pm Saturday 25 October 2008
Cost $34 per person, drinks extra.
Special Guests: Tom Sonter and relatives of the crash victims.

The Tumbarumba Museum at the Visitor Information Centre will be open each day from 10am - 4pm and includes a significant collection of photographs, local stories, newspaper records, archival film, a scale model and recovered parts of the Southern Cloud.
